I went in to Verizon the other day to get the iPhone 7 and a piece of the conversation with the salesman broke down like this..
'Well I'm thinking of getting the iPhone 7'
'Oh, can I ask you why you're interested in that phone?'
'Well I'm a photographer and with the new water resistant case and improved camera it would be a great fit and I'd love to get some pictures under water'
'The iPhone 7 can take some splash, but DO NOT take it under water. The Samsung phones are the ONLY phones that are truly water-proof.'
'Well I was just over at the apple store and they said I would be fine taking it in to a pool for pictures.'
'Well they're wrong. (repeats thats Samsung phones are the only phones capable of going under water)'
'Are you sure..? Because..'
'110% sure.'
'okay then..'
I then went home and did the research I had already done before to confirm what I already thought - the iPhone 7 CAN go under water (with certain time/distance limitations yadayada). So what gives? Was the Verizon salesman misinformed or was he paid to misinform me?
